About

I started photography as a kid with a small Brownie camera in my hands, not really knowing where it would take me : only that I loved capturing what I saw. Photography was always part of my world. My dad had a passion for it, and my grandfather was a filmmaker, so I grew up surrounded by cameras, images, and stories.

When I took my first photography classes, I was introduced to black-and-white film, and that’s where everything started to click. I learned how to work with light, timing, and composition in a very hands-on way.

After college, I bought my first medium format camera, and that changed everything. It pushed me to slow down, to be more intentional, and to really see what I was photographing. I spent a lot of time exploring and photographing Southern Utah and the American West, drawn to the scale, textures, and light that constantly shift across the landscape.

As the industry evolved, I moved into digital photography and started shooting concerts and events. It was a completely different pace, full of energy and unpredictability, but it taught me to react, adapt, and capture moments as they happened. At some point, I realized I had reached a place where I simply never stopped taking pictures.

Today, my passion is still rooted in landscape and nature. I’m happiest when I’m out in the open, surrounded by quiet and space, observing the world and translating what I see through my lens. For me, photography isn’t just about capturing an image—it’s about holding onto a moment and sharing the way it felt to be there.
